Before buying these Raycon E70s, I was a bit skeptical of the new Bluetooth wireless earbuds that have been coming out. I expected messy Bluetooth connectivity and compromise in sound quality, all for a premium price. When I saw these Raycons, I thought I’d give them a shot given their affordable price point and do not regret making the jump to completely wireless.
I use these primarily to listen to music and podcasts to and from work. They pair extremely easily, are great to control with the side buttons, sit snug in the ear, and work great with phone calls. It’s been a week since using them and I have yet to charge the included battery case, which have a nice magnetic snap to it when inserting the earphones. The part that is inserted into your ear canal is shaped like Apple earbuds, but these are a lot more stylish from the outside. Sound quality is great, and I can’t believe that this much range and volume can come from two small wireless earbuds the size of my thumbnail. I listen to a range of music from EDM, hip hop, and country, and these handle every genre beautifully.
One thing that worried me about these earbuds (and all other true wireless earbuds), was how durable they would be, as they don’t have a wire to catch them if dropped. As expected, I have already dropped them a couple times on hard surfaces, and they have been holding up great.
For the price, Raycon delivers an extremely convenient and fun pair of earphones that is definitely worth a look.
